Upon successful activation message COMPL appears in the status
bar.
In the event of failure (after 30 sec) the message ERROR appears.
Repeat the procedure.
The RC is activated and is ready for use.
Brief or long press of the controller aborts activation and does menu
exit.
Selection of units of measurement
Select menu option
Turn the controller to select M (metres) or Y (yards).
Confirm your choice with a short press of the controller.
The unit of measurement icon is displayed next to the distance
readings.
Selection of rangefinder indicator
Select menu option
Push and turn the controller to select one of the three rangefinder
indicator types. The number is shown to the right of the icon.
Confirm your choice with a short press of the controller.

Selection of power source
Select menu option . Confirm your choice with a short press of
the controller.
Turn the controller to select source of power: CR123A battery or
CR123A type rechargeable battery and confirm with a short
press of the controller
The power icon is shown in the status bar. The battery icon in the
status bar changes immediately after confirmation of your choice. The
icon shows power source and current charge level of the
rechargeable or regular battery.
Important! The size of the CR123A rechargeable battery used must
comply with that of the CR123A regular battery. Maximum voltage is
3.6V.
Note.
When the charge level is within 100%-10%, the low battery icon is shown
in the status bar. When charge level drops below 10%, the icon with the
status bar is permanently shown on the display. The riflescope switches
off automatically upon voltage level lower than 2V.
Menu exit
Select menu option to enter the menu or submenu.
Automatic menu exit takes place after 10 seconds of inactivity (without
buttons and controller being pressed).
The list of functions which are saved after the riflescope is turned
off:
Reticle coordinates (for each weapon profile).
Aiming reticle (for each weapon profile).
Rangefinder indicator
Weapon profile number
Unit of measurement of distance
Brightness level
Power source
The built-in rangefinder allows distance to be measured to a stationary or
slowly moving object and observe an object. Maximum measurable
distance is 600m.

How the rangefinder works:
Turn on the riflescope, adjust image according to section 8,
After pressing the LRF (4) button, rangefinder indicator and unit of
measurement appear; aiming graticule disappears. The rangefinder
is in stand-by mode. After 3-4 seconds of inactivity the rangefinder
indicator disappears.
Point the rectangular shaped rangefinder indicator at an object. Press
the LRF (4) button - in the top part of the display you will see distance
in metres (or yards depending on settings), i.e. 560m .
Hold down the LRF button to activate the scanning mode (SCAN).
The following brief press disables the SCAN mode. When the SCAN
mode is deactivated, the rangefinder returns to regular measurement
mode (SCAN message disappears; dashes and unit of measurement
remain).
When the rangefinder operates in the scanning mode, the message
SCAN appears in top right corner, and the data received is displayed
as follows:
- If the distance is measured, numbers with unit of measurement are
displayed (SCAN560m).
- If the distance is not measured, dashes with unit of measurement
blink (SCAN----m).
To switch between metres and yards, select menu option Unit of
measurement (see section 10).
To turn off the rangefinder and the riflescope, hold down the ON
button for two seconds.
Note! The controller is NOT active when the rangefinder is in operation
(including scanning mode).
