USB/SD/MMC operations
USB/SD/MMC notes
• USB format supports 1.1. Capacity: up to
8 Gb.
• For correct and satisfactory operation,
licensed SD/MMC memory cards of famous
brands should be used with this unit. Avoid
using memory cards of unknown brands.
Capacity: up to 8 Gb.
• FAT32 file system is supported.
Inserting SD/MMC card/USB device
Detach the front panel and insert an MMC/
SD card into the card slot. Attach the front
panel. Insert a USB device into the USB port.
After that the playing mode will be changed into
Card or USB mode automatically. The first card/
USB device track playback will start. If the unit
is afterwards switched to another mode, press
MOD/MUT button on the panel or MODE button
on the RC to select USB or memory card mode.
MP3/DivX/JPEG file playback
When you insert a storage containing MP3/
DivX/JPEG files, the screen will show following
interface:

1. Current playback information (elapsed/
remaining time, bit rate, etc.)
2. Current folder/file list
3. Slide bar
4. ID3-tag window
5. Current storage
You can select the needed folder or file by
pressing UP/DOWN cursor buttons. Press
button on the RC or PTY/
button on the
panel or press and hold SET/PAU/6 button on
the panel to play the selected file. When playing
a picture or video file, press
/ button on the
RC or press and hold ENTER/STOP/5 button
on the panel to return to the storage menu.
Some AVI files cannot be played due
to their parameters and recording conditions.
Video files more than 2 Gb having AVI
extension can be played partially.
Play/Pause/Stop
During playback press button on the RC
or PTY/
button on the panel or press and
hold SET/PAU/6 button on the panel to pause
playback. Do this operation again to resume
playback. To stop playback, press
/ button
on the RC or press and hold ENTER/STOP/5
button on the panel.
Selecting tracks/chapters
During playback press button on the
panel or on the RC to play the previous track/
chapter (depending on the format). Press
button on the panel or on the RC to play the
next track/chapter. Press number buttons (0-9)
on the RC to select the desired track/chapter.
Fast forward/rewind
Press and hold repeatedly or
button on the panel or RC for fast backward
or forward playing correspondingly. With each
pressing and holding playback speed will
increase as follows: x2 => x4 => x8 => x16
=> x32 => Normal. While fast playback, press
button on the RC or PTY/ button on the
panel or press and hold SET/PAU/6 button on
the panel to resume normal speed.
Repeat playback
Press and hold RIGHT/RPT/2 button on
