BLINDSTICHFUSS
Der Blindstichfuß steht als Sonderzubehör in zwei Größen
zur Verfügung: 0,5 für leichte/mittlere Stoffe und 1.0 für
mittlere/schwere Stoffe.
Montieren Sie den entsprechenden Fuß.
Stichlänge: 4 - 5.
Gehen Sie nun folgendermaßen vor:
1. Falten Sie den Stoff auf die gewünschte Saumbreite
und bügeln Sie ihn an. Legen Sie die Falte zurück
gegen die Oberseite des Nähguts, sodaß sich auf der
Unterseite eine ‘weiche’ Falte bildet (Siehe Fig. 1.)
2. Legen Sie das Nähgut mit der Unterseite nach oben
unter den Nähfuß. Führen Sie die gefaltete Kante
in die Führung vorn am Nähfuß, und lassen Sie den
Lüfterhebel herunter.
Machen Sie eine Nähprobe auf einem Rest des Stoffes,
den Sie verarbeiten wollen, und stellen Sie die Führung
so ein, daß die Nadel die Saumkante gerade ansticht.
Benutzen Sie zur Feineinstellung die kleine Schraube
oben auf dem Nähfuß (Fig. 2).
3. Wenn die Einstellung korrekt ist, nähen Sie den Saum
Der überstehende Stoff wird dabei abgeschnitten (Fig. 2).
Wenn Sie fertig sind, schlagen Sie den Stoff um und
bügeln Sie noch einmal nach. Die Stiche sollten auf der
Oberseite kaum sichtbar sein (Fig. 3).

BLIND HEM FOOT
Blind hem feet are obtainable as an optional extra and are
available in two sizes. 0.5 for ne-medium fabrics and 1.0
for medium/ heavy fabrics.
Fit the appropriate foot.
Set the stitch length 4 - 5.
Now proceed as follows:
1. Turn up the hem to the required depth and press. Fold
the hem back against the 'right' side of the garment,
creating a 'soft' fold on the 'wrong' side of the fabric –
see Fig. 1.
2. Place fabric under the presser foot with the 'wrong' side
up. Feed the folded edge through the guide in the front
of the foot and lower the presser foot lever. Try a stitch
(or several stitches) on a spare piece of the actual fabric,
and adjust the guide so that the needle just catches the
fold. Adjust the guide by means of the small screw on
the top of the foot – see Fig. 2.
3. When correctly set, sew the hem. The outside edge
will be cut away by the machine – see also Fig. 2. After
completion, open out and press again. The stitches
should be almost invisible on the 'right' of the fabric –
see Fig. 3.

5. SONDERZUBEHÖR 5. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
PICIORUŞ PENTRU TIGHEL ASCUNS
Picioruşul pentru tighel ascuns prezintă utilaj adăugător şi
este de două feluri: 0,5 pentru ţesături uşoare şi medii şi 1,0
pentru ţesături medii şi groase.
Alegeţi mărimea cuvenită a picioruşului. Fixaţi lungimea
tighelului de 4-5.
1. Îndoiaţi materialul la mărimea cuvenită şi călcaţi cu
erul de călcat. Întoarceţi îndoitura pe faţă, formînd pe
dos un fald moale (vezi des. poz. 1).
2. Puneţi materialul sub picioruş cu partea pe dos în
sus. Băgaţi marginea îndoiată în ghidajul din faţa
picioruşului, coborîţi picioruşul. Încercaţi mai întîi pe
model şi reglaţi ghidajul în aşa mod, ca acul abea
să atingă faldul. Reglarea ghidajului se efectuiază
cu ajutorul şurubelniţei mici pe partea superioară a
picioruşului (des.poz.2).
3. Coaseţi îndoitura. Surplusul de material va retezat cu
cuţitul. Îndreptaţi şi călcaţi. Cusătura nu se vede pe faţa
articolului (des.piz.3).
