Instruction Manual
Symbols in these Instructions for Use
Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is
essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid
accidents and prevent damage to the machine:
WARNING:
This warns you of dangers to your health and indicates
possible injury risks.
CAUTION:
This refers to possible hazards to the machine or other
objects.
Scope of Delivery
• 1X shoe cleaning machine, battery-operated
• 4X 1.5 V batteries of type MIGNON ● LR6 ● AA
• 3X brushes*
• 3X polishing attachment*
• 2X spare polishing attachments
* in each of the colours black, brown and white
Inserting the Batteries
The battery compartment is located in the base of the shoe
cleaning machine.
• Open the lid by pushing towards the rear.
• Insert four MIGNON batteries into the battery compartment.
• Ensure the correct polarity. Note the instructions on the
device itself.
• Close the battery compartment.
Operation
Select the desired attachment.
• Place the attachment on the axle of the shoe cleaning
machine.
• Use the appropriate shoe polish, if necessary.
CAUTION:
If you use shoe polish on an attachment the polish may
splash when the attachment is switched on for the fi rst time.
• Press the switch once to turn the device on and a second
time to turn it off again.
Cleaning
Please use only a moderately damp cloth for external cleaning
of the device.
CAUTION: Never immerse the device in water!
Noise development
The sound pressure level in the ear of an operator (LpA) was
measured according to DIN EN ISO 3744.

Batteries
If the device is not used for a prolonged period of time, please
take the batteries out in order to prevent leakage of battery acid.
CAUTION:
Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic
wastes. Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection
bin or at your dealer’s.
CAUTION:
Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be
used together.
WARNING:
• Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct
sunlight. Never throw batteries into the fi re. There is a
danger of explosion!
• Do not open the batteries!
• Do not charge up the batteries!
Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month
guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return
the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer
together with the receipt.
Environmental Protection
Do not dispose of the device at the end of its
life in the standard domestic waste. Instead it
should be taken to an offi cial collection point for
recycling. This helps to protect our environment.
