» For a short heat-up time, select as thin a screed thickness as possible whilst still complying with the minimum thickness 
specified in your region.
 

» Prior to laying the mats, compare the structural conditions with the application drawings. Clarify any deviations with the 
site management. These deviations must not impede the heating mats.
» Lay the heating mats in accordance with the application drawings so that the cold conductor connections are near the 
junction box.
» Connect the existing cable screen to the earth conductor.
» The area specified to be heated in the application drawings will be achieved if you cut through the heating mat grid at 
the reversing points provided. At the cutting point, bend over the heating conductor and lay the next strip parallel to 
the first one. If required, repeat this process.
»  Check the resistance or the insulation value of the heating mats. The insulation resistance of the 
heating mats with screen in the delivered condition is 10 megohm.
