» Do not exceed the bending radius of 5 x dia.

» Maintain the minimum clearance between heating conductors (see chapter "Specification").

»  lay heating mats underneath baths, kitchen units or similar.

» Route the cold conductor to the side of the heating mats towards the junction box provided.

» Insert the residual heat sensor in the door opening area inside a protective pipe sealed at one end, so it lies centrally be-

tween two heating conductors (wall clearance approx. 50 cm) within the heated area.

» Insert the underfloor sensor into a protective pipe sealed at one end or inside a sensor sleeve (copper or aluminium); re-

placement must be possible.

»  Check the overall resistance and the insulation resistance. Record the values in the test report.







 

» Ensure that no pulling stress is exerted on the female connections.

» Never trim the heating cable. Never connect the heating cable directly to the power supply. Only trim or extend the cold

conductor.

» Connect the cold conductors of the individual heating mats in parallel inside the junction box.

» Only use permanent power supplies. The heating cable must be able to be separated from the mains power supply by an

isolator that disconnects all poles with at least 3 mm contact separation.

» For the power connection of control units, see the respective instruction manual.

 

Suitable floor coverings are terracotta tiles, ceramic tiles as well as natural and concrete slabs. Textile coverings, as well as

PVC and parquet are also suitable if these are identified as being "suitable for underfloor heating".

»  Measure the total resistance and the insulation resistance after laying the floor cover. Record the

values in the test report.
