Maintaining the Power Supply

Carry out the following to replace a faulty power supply:

1. Hold the power cable and gently pull the cable clip to the left to release the cable from the cable clip.

2. Disconnect the power cable from the power supply.

3. Lightly push the green lever on the power supply to the left-hand side and unplug the faulty power module.

4. Install a replacement power module in the vacant power supply slot.

5. Reconnect the power cables.

Remote Maintenance

Remote maintenance is supported by the DGS-6600 series switch. When installation of the Switch is complete,

the user can connect the Switch to the Internet. The user can then use the Internet to establish a Telnet

connection to the Switch.
