6.1.2 SavvyToolboxExport (STBExport) Module for Windows
Before you start, make sure that the export module is installed correctly.
• Open the TIFF Þ le you want to export.
Choose File > Export. Select SavvyToolboxExport.
For Source ProÞ le, choose the appropriate scanner or monitor ICC proÞ le
from the sub-directory to which you copied the proÞ les during the installation
procedure. The default sub-directory in this dialogue is the color directory in
your system directory.
For Destination ProÞ le, choose the appropriate ICC proÞ le for your paper
type.
For Matching Method, choose Perceptual, for Quality choose Proof. See
Matching Styles in the glossary for more information on these settings.
Click OK.
• Type a Þ lename, and choose a location for the Þ le.
This new Þ le is converted to the printer’s color space and can be printed without
any further settings.
6.1.3 ColorSync Import Module on Macintosh
Make sure that ColorSync is switched on (check the extension manager in the control
panel) and that the Photoshop plug-in is installed correctly.
• Open Adobe Photoshop.
Choose File > Import. Select TIFF with ColorSync ProÞ le.
Select the RGB TIFF Þ le you want to open.
• For Source ProÞ le, choose the appropriate scanner or monitor ICC proÞ le.
• For Output ProÞ le, choose the appropriate ICC proÞ le for your paper type.
• For Matching Style, choose ProÞ le Default; for Quality, choose ProÞ le
Default. If you want to change these settings, see Matching Styles in the
glossary for more information. If the TIFF image you want to open has a
proÞ le embedded, the proÞ le name will appear in italics on the list of available
source proÞ les.
