The maximum number of IGMP multicast groups are restricting to 4 entries; the more IGMP Join packets will be
filtered.
4.9.4 IGMP Group Policy
The IGMP Group Policy allowed the network administrator to assigning a specificy Multicast Group to a port. The
port is configured to send and receive all traffic for a particular mulcast group. Usually, the function is use to test
the multicast protocols in the network or for the PC/Laptop manufactory to pre-install operation system via
multicast. There is maximum 24 static Multicast Groups are able to assign.
The following fields can be set for IGMP Group Policy configuration:
Set IGMP Group Policy
Index: Assign a No. 1~24 for the Multicast Group as a index for easy managment
Multicast Group: Identifies the Multicast group IP address
