Master / Slave Bridge Security

Enable or Disable the security mechanism.

Entry Method

Hexadecimal: The key input must be hexadecimal (0-9, A-F).

The Entry Method of both Master and Slave Bridges must be identical.

ASCII: The key input can be any character.

Encryption Type

WAP-7000 supports three encryption types: 64-bit / 128-bit / 152-bit WEP. The Encryption

Shared Key (Master Bridge only)

When Share Key is set, all Master-Slave links use this key to encrypt except the link(s)

specified with Unique Key. Input the key value according to the encryption type.
