Symptoms Cause Troubleshooting
The cleaner smells.
Did you buy the product less than
3 months ago?
•
You can smell rubbers for the rst three months
after buying the product.
Is the dust bin full?
•
You can smell odor due to dust in the dust bin.
Clean the dust bin.
Is the lter covered with foreign
objects?
•
You can smell order in the lter if the lter is
not cleaned for a long time. Clean the pre-lter,
motor protection lter, and exhaust lter.
Is the pre-lter wet?
•
You can smell order if you leave the pre-lter
unattended for a long time without drying up
properly after cleaning it with water. Clean the
lter in the running water and dry up completely
before use.
Did you dry up the dust bin and
dust separator completely after
cleaning with water.
•
If washed with water, remove moisture com-
pletely by drying up more than 24 hours in the
well-ventilated shade. If you use the wet dust
bin, it may cause bad smells or product malfunc-
tion.
The RoboSense lamp
on the top of the main
unit ashes but the
cleaner doesn’t start.
When did you replace the hose
battery?
•
Replace the AAA battery of the hose.
Noise becomes louder.
Is the product working?
•
It’s not malfunction as noise occurs when the
motor rotates at a high speed.
Is the dust bin full?
•
Empty the dust bin and clean the pre-lter and
motor protection lter at the rear of the dust
bin.
Is the suction nozzle, hose, or
length adjustment extension tube
blocked by a large foreign object?
•
Remove the sticking large object using the
wooden chopstick.
The product is turned
off quickly.
Is the product fully charged?
•
Fully charge the product.
•
If the same problem occurs after full charge,
please contact LG Electronics Service Center.
Did you keep the product without
use for a long time?
•
To obtain the best performance after keeping
for a long time, discharge and charge the battery
several times.
Did you use the product at a high
temperature (above 38 °C)?
•
The power can be turned off quickly if the
ambient temperature is above 38 °C, to protect
the product. Sufciently cool down at room
temperature before use. If the same problem
persists, contact LG Electronics Service Center.
The product is turned
off automatically.
Is the product fully charged?
•
Fully charge the product.
Did you use the product for a
long time after installing the
accessory suction nozzle?
•
The product can be turned off if the product
or battery is overheated. If you experience the
same problem after about 30 minutes, contact
LG Electronics Service Center.

- Unplug the power plug if the product will not be used for a long time 6
- Unplug the power plug when cleaning or fixing the charging stand 6
- When pulling out the power plug do not pull the power line but make sure to hold the power plug and pull the power plug out 6
- Be careful not to let water beverage detergent flow into the product or charging stand 7
- Be careful that the product doesn t hit a fragile item e g flowerpot or touch candle flame when using the product 7

- Do not use the battery that is not provided with this product 7
- Do not use the product at a place that the product can fall on furniture handrail stairs etc 7
- Do not use the product to clean up liquids water beverages etc metals blades pins etc com bustibles surfactants pieces of glass etc 7
- If gas propane city gas etc leaks out do not touch the product or power plug but immediately ventilate the room 7

- If the earth leakage circuit breaker elcb is activated as soon as charge starts after placing the unit body on the charging stand stop charging immediately and contact lg electronics service center 8
