7.1 General
● Place the machine on level and firm
ground when performing all the
operations described.
● Charge battery (Ö 8.4).
7.2 Installing the mono handlebar
(MA 443 C)
● Insert the sleeve (J) in the bore
on the handlebar (1).
● Fit the two washers (L) with the convex
side facing inwards onto the sleeve in
the handlebar (1).
● Hold the sleeve (J) and washers (L)
and insert together with the
handlebar (1) into the holder on the
handlebar console (2).
● Insert the screw (K) from the outside
inwards through the bores in the
handlebar (1) and in the handlebar
console (2). Screw on the nut (M) and
tighten the screw (K) to a torque of 20-
25 Nm.
Remove the locking device
(safety plug) before perform-
ing any work on the
machine.
Battery is too warm.
Charging starts after the
cooling-down period, i.e.
the battery can only be
used after the cooling-
down period.
The battery is defective
and must be replaced.

7. Preparing the machine for
operation
Risk of injury!
Observe the safety instructions in
the section "For your safety" (Ö 4.).
Remove the safety plug,
particularly before
performing any work on the lawn
mower (Ö 9.1).
Upon delivery, the batteries are
charged to approx. 30%. They must
be therefore be charged before
being used for the first time.
