4.2 Installation
4.2.1 Important information
DANGER: RISK OF BURNING
There is a danger of scalding at water temperatures
>60°C. This can occur when legionella protection is active
or when the hot water target temperature is set to >60°C.
▪ Fit scalding protection (see Chap. 3.2.3).
▪ For domestic water pipes observe the stipulations of EN806 and
EN1717.
▪ The position and dimensions of the connections can be taken from
Fig. 3-1 to Fig. 3-3.
▪ Check the cold water connection pressure (maximum 6bar).
▪ If a higher pressure is present in the domestic water pipe, a
pressure reducer will need to be installed.
▪ Connect the pressure relief line to the safety pressure relief valve
(customer supply) and connect the diaphragm expansion tank as
per EN12828.
▪ Observe the tightening torques (see Chap. 9.3)
▪ Observe the requirements for the filling water (see Chap. 1.2.5).
INFORMATION
To prevent heat loss from the connection pipes when the
heating pump is switched off and during periods when no
domestic water is drawn off (gravity circulation), circula-
tion brakes(see Chap. 3.2.2) should be installed in the
connections to the hot water storage tank.
4.2.2 Hydraulic system connection
1 When using circulation brakes, fit them in the pipe connections
on the hot water storage tank.
2 Check the water pressure on the cold water connection
(<6bar).
