Bomann AE 1915 CB [25/42] Cleaning and storage

 NOTE:

If necessary peel, stone and cut the fruits from which the

juice is to be extracted into strips or pieces. Please note

that this device is not suitable for removing the juice from

bananas, peaches, apricots etc, as these fruits contain

only very little juice. Fruits which are very hard, such

as coconuts, cannot be placed in this machine as the

centrifuge sieve or the motor may be damaged.

7. Push the fruits into the ﬁ lling aperture and insert the stopper.

WARNING:

Never press the food with your hands into the ﬁ lling

aperture. Always use the tamper supplied.

8. Switch on the device. Press the fruits lightly with the stopper.

9. There are 2 speeds available.

10. For removing the juice at an even speed (continuous opera-

tion):

During operation on levels 1 and 2 the switch locks in the

respective position.

Level 1 = low speed

Level 2 = high speed

In order to switch off the device, turn the switch back to „O“.

CAUTION:

Do not use the device for longer than 3 minutes without

interruption!

11. The juice now ﬂ ows into the vessel. The ﬂ esh of the fruit is

collected in the pomace container.

CAUTION:

In order to avoid malfunctions please do not overﬁ ll the

juice container. Empty the pulp container regularly and do

not allow the ﬁ lled container to stand for too long in order

to avoid unpleasant odours.

12. In order to remove the cover, please release the safety catch

(7).

Cleaning and storage

• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.

• Never immerse the housing with motor in water!

• Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.

Motor Housing

Only a damp rinsing cloth should be used to clean the outside

of the housing.

Tamper, cover, centrifuge ﬁ lter, centrifuge housing, pulp

container, juice container

CAUTION:

The plastic components are not suitable for cleaning in the

dishwasher. When subjected to heat and caustic detergents

they might become deformed or discoloured.

• Removable parts that have come into contact with food can

be rinsed by hand.

• Please use a rinsing brush to clean the centrifuge ﬁ lter.

WARNING:

the centrifuge sieve is very sharp! Danger of injury!

• Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the

device.

Troubleshooting

• Device is not working

Remedy:

Check the mains connection.

Check the position of the switch.

Other possible causes:

The device is ﬁ tted with a safety switch (10).

This prevents the motor from starting up unintentionally.

Remedy:

Check that the centrifuge ﬁ lter and cover are correctly

positioned.

Guarantee

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month

guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).

During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its

accessories ascribable to material or manufacturing defects will

be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our discretion, by

replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension

of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a

new guarantee!

Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase.

Without proof of purchase no free replacement or repair will be

carried out.

If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return

the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer

together with the receipt.

Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as

cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not

covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!

The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
