AUTOMATIC MODE
IMPORTANT To use the system proper-
ly, you are recommended to press ped-
als with the right foot only.
❒
Press the brake pedal.
❒
Start the engine.
❒
Move the gear lever to A/M
fig. 3 to engage the automatic mode or
to R-fig. 2 to engage reverse.
❒
Release the brake pedal and press the
accelerator pedal.
OPERATION
The gearbox can work in two operating
modes:
❒
the first mode is manual (MANUAL):
the driver directly requests gearshift-
ing;
❒
the second mode is automatic (AU-
TO): the system directly decides when
shifting gears. With this operating log-
ic it is possible to activate the ECO
(Economy) function to contain con-
sumption by pressing button E-fig. 4
set on the instrument panel. To shift
gears and to select the operating mode
(MANUAL or AUTO) use the gear
lever with whatever speed.

GEAR LEVER
The gear lever A-fig. 1 is located on the
central console and it is of the floating
“multi-stable position” type, i.e.: it features
three stable positions and three unstable
ones.
The three stable positions correspond to
neutral N-fig. 2, reverse R-fig. 2 and cen-
tral position set between the unstable po-
sitions UP (+) and DOWN (–) fig. 1.
Unstable positions (i.e.: positions aban-
doned as soon as the gear lever is released)
are the upshifting position UP (+), the
downshifting position DOWN (–) and the
automatic mode position (A/M) fig. 3.

ВАЖНО Нажимайте на педали только
правой ногой.
Нажмите педаль тормоза.
Запустите двигатель.
Отклоните рычаг селектора в сторону
надписи для вклю-
чения автоматического режима или
установите рычаг в положение 
 для включения передачи
заднего хода.
Отпустите педаль тормоза и нажмите
педаль акселератора.

Коробка передач может функциониро-
вать в одном из двух режимов:
ручной режим : переда-
чи переключает водитель;
полностью автоматический режим
: момент переключения
передач определяет система управ-
ления. В этом режиме возможна
активация функции  (для эконо-
мии топлива) кнопкой 
на панели приборов. Переключение
передач и выбор режима работы
или на любой
скорости осуществляется рычагом
селектора.

Рычаг селектора , располо-
женный на центральной консоли, имеет
три фиксированных и три нефиксиро-
ванных положения.
Три фиксированных положения - это
нейтраль,  , задний ход 
 и центральное положение меж-
ду нефиксированными положениями
() - запрос более высокой передачи
и (-) - запрос более низкой передачи,
.
Нефиксированные положения (в кото-
рых рычаг селектора не задерживается)
- это положения запроса более высокой
(), более низкой (-) передач и включе-
ния автоматического режима 
