APPLICATION ADVICE
• When drilling ferrous metals
-pre-drillasmallerhole,whenalargeholeisrequired
-lubricatedrillbitoccasionallywithoil
• When turning in a screw at/near the cross cut end
oranedgeofwood,pre-drillaholeinordertoavoid
crackingofthewood
• Foranoptimaluseofthetoolasteadypressureonthe
screwisrequired,especiallywhileremoving
• Whenscrewdrivinginhardwoodoneshouldpre-drilla
hole
Yourmachineisdoubleinsulatedinaccordance
with EN60745; therefore no earth wire is re-
quired.
MAINTENANCE
Make sure thatthe machineis not live when
carryingoutmaintenanceworkonthemotor.
Regularlyclean the machine housing with a soft cloth,
preferablyaftereachuse.Keeptheventilationslotsfree
fromdustanddirt.Ifthedirtdoesnotcomeouseasoft
cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents
suchaspetrol,alcohol,ammoniawater,etc.Thesesol-
ventsmaydamagetheplasticparts.
Themachinerequiresnoadditionallubrication.
Shouldafaultoccur,e.g.afterwearofapart,pleasecon-
tactyourlocalBORTGLOBALLIMITEDdealer.
ENVIRONMENT
In order to prevent the machine from damage during
transport,itisdeliveredinasturdypackaging.Mostof
the packaging materials can be recycled. Take these
materials to the appropriate recycling locations. Take
