PROCEDURE FOR THE MEASUREMENT
IMPORTANT! The device has sensor keys and clicking is a slight touch
of a fi nger.
Moisture, dirt and other objects between the fi nger and panel of the
device can aff ect the ability to respond to the touching keys.
1. Insert AIR PLUG into AIR CONNECTOR before starting a blood
pressure measurement.
Take deep breaths and relax. Do not move, chat or strain your arm or hand
during measurement.
2. Touch “START/STOP”. Air is exhausted from the cuff (fi g.12).
3. Automatic infl ation starts (fi g.13).
4. Infl ation stops when the pressure, that is, the displayed value, reaches
the designated value.
Body Motion Symbol
Blood pressure value taken while moving cannot be said to be
the correct value because body movement can aff ect blood pressure.
This product analyzes pulse wave and displays « » when body motion is
detected. « » indicates the results might be aff ected by body movement.
Cu Symbol
This product displays whether the cuff is applied properly or not
by analyzing the pressure wave. « » indicates that the cuff is applied
properly but « » indicates that the cuff may be wrapped too tightly or
too loosely.
Touch “START/STOP” again to cancel measurement.
The monitor will exhaust air from the cuff and turn off.
5. Pulse Symbol
«» is displayed as pulse is detected
(fi g.14).
6.
Air is released from the cuff and measured values are
displayed as measurement completes (fi g.15).
7. Touching or will switch the bank.
8. Touch “START/STOP”.
The monitor will be turned off . Even if you do not turn off
the monitor, it turns off automatically after 3 minutes.
Reliability Symbol
Some of the important aspects in measuring blood pressure are how properly the cuff
is applied and how calm you are during measurement. These aspects can aff ect measurement
values and such values cannot said to be correct values. This product shows « » when the
measurement is supposedly made in good condition without infl uences from such aspects
.
Do not execute repeated measurements for congestion of blood could result in false
measurement. Let your wrist rest for at least 5 minutes.
