2.4 System Configuration
The Rack Mounted UPS is configured by the following part: Rectifier, Charger,
Inverter, Static Switch. One or several battery strings should be installed to provide
backup energy once the utility fails. The UPS structure is shown in Fig.2-3.

2.5 Operation Mode
The UPS is an on-line, double-conversion UPS that permits operation in the following
modes:
Normal mode
Battery mode
Bypass mode
Maintenance mode (manual bypass)
ECO mode
Auto-restart mode
Frequency Converter mode
2.3.1 Normal Mode
The inverter of UPS continuously supply the critical AC load. The rectifier/charger
derives power from the AC mains input source and supplies DC power to the inverter

- Auto restart mode the battery may become exhausted following an extended ac mains failure the inverter shuts down when the battery reaches the end of discharge voltage eod the ups may be programmed to system auto start mode after eod the system starts after a delay time when the ac mains recover the mode and the delay time are programmed by the commissioning engineer 14
