Attention!
For additional protection it is reasonable to install
a residual current device (RCD) with nominal
operation current not exceeding 30 mA. To install
RCD, contact a specialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read these instructions
carefully and keep them for further reference.
• Use the unit according to its intended pur-
pose only, as it is stated in this user manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage
and cause harm to the user or damage to his/
her property.
• Make sure that the operating voltage of the
kettle corresponds to the voltage of your
mains.
• The power cord is equipped with a “euro-
plug”; plug it into the socket with a reliable
grounding contact.
• To avoid the risk of fire, do not use adapters
for connecting the kettle to the mains.
• Do not use the kettle in bathrooms. Do not
use it near swimming pools or other contain-
ers filled with water.
• Do not use the kettle near heat sources and
open flame.
• Do not use the kettle outdoors.
• Do not leave the operating kettle unattended.
• Place the kettle on a flat stable surface; do
not place the kettle on the edge of the table.
• Before switching the kettle on, make sure
that it is placed on the base evenly.
• Use only the base supplied with the unit.
• Do not let the power cord hang from the edge
of the table and make sure that the cord does
not touch hot surfaces or sharp edges of fur-
niture. You can adjust the power cord length
by fixing it in the cord storage.
• Do not touch the power cord and power plug
with wet hands.
• Do not switch the kettle on if it is empty.
• Do not fill the kettle with water when it is
standing on the base.
• Take the kettle off the base before opening
the lid.
• Use the kettle only for water boiling and water
and tea heating; do not heat or boil any other
liquids.
• Ensure that the water level in the kettle is not
below the minimal mark «Min». The level of
water intended for boiling should not exceed
«Water Max» mark, tea water level should not
exceed «Tea Max» mark. If the water level
exceeds «Water Max» mark, boiling water
can splash out from the kettle.
• To avoid burns by hot steam, do not bend
over the kettle spout while it is operating.
• Do not use the kettle without the lid or if the
lid is not closed tightly.
• Do not open the kettle lid while water boiling.
• Do not touch hot surfaces of the kettle; take it
only by the handles (4, 10 and 14).
• Be careful while carrying the kettle filled with
boiling water.
• Do not remove the operating kettle from the
base. Before taking the kettle off the base,
switch it off by pressing the button (7) «On/
Off» and then remove the kettle from the
base.
• Attention! Be careful when handling the
glass flask of the kettle; the flask can be bro-
ken if the kettle was dropped or hit against a
metal sink while water filling.
• Clean the unit regularly.
• Always unplug the kettle before cleaning or
when you do not use the unit. When unplug-
ging the unit, do not pull the power cord, hold
the plug.
• To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the
unit and base into water or any other liquids.
• Do not wash the kettle and base in a dish-
washing machine.
• Do not allow children to touch the unit body
and the power cord during the unit opera-
tion.
