Opens and closes the CD tray. While playing a CD,
the CD tray is locked against unintentional opening.
4 Button SOURCE SELECT
In pause mode, short actuation of the button allows
switching between the data carriers CD, USB 1 and
USB 2. Both drives can access the same USB
medium simultaneously. The LEDs will verify which
source is selected.
5 LCD
Indicates all functions of the unit and information of
the data carriers. The display icons will be
explained in section DISPLAY.
6 Button SGL/CTN
For selecting the operating mode and the function
Auto Cue:
• Basic setting continuous mode: continuous play of
all titles of the data carrier.
• Short actuation activates single title play
(indication SINGLE): after playing a title, the unit is
set to pause at the start of the next title.
• Long actuation: activates/deactivates the function
Auto Cue; with the function activated, AUTO CUE
is indicated.
7 Button TIME
For switching over the time indication and calling
the system settings:
• Basic setting: remaining title time (REMAIN).
• First
short actuation: elapsed title time (ELAPSED).
• Second short actuation: total remaining time
(TOTAL REMAIN), not in MP3 mode.
• Long actuation: for calling the system settings.
8 Jog dial
• Operating mode Pitch Bend: in play mode for the
function Pitch Bend and in pause mode for
precisely selecting a certain spot.
• Operating mode Scratch: to create scratch effects
• For searching for music in the database of a USB
storage device.
• For editing the starting and end point of a
seamless loop.
9 Button JOG MODE with LEDs
Determines the operating mode of the jog dial. The
LEDs next to the button indicate which mode is
selected.
• Pitch Bend: in play mode for the function Pitch
Bend and in pause mode for precisely selecting a
certain spot.
• Scratch: to create scratch effects.
10 Button CUE
• When pressing the button in pause mode and
during playback the unit stops and returns to the
starting point of the title (cue point) and is in pause
mode (LED lights red).
• When keeping the button pressed in pause mode,
the title is momentarily played. As soon as you
release the button the unit instantly returns to the
cue point.
• Every time a new cue point is set, the LED flashes
repeatedly.
• Short repeated actuation creates stutter effects.
11 Button [►II]
Switches between play and pause. During playback
the yellow LED lights, in pause mode it flashes.
