Unpacking your IO 82 Desktop Recording Interface
Each IO 82 desktop recording interface is shipped in one carton, containing
the IO 82 unit and a software DVD for Windows
®
and Macintosh
®
sys-
tems. After unpacking, save all the packaging materials in case you ever have
to ship the unit. Thoroughly inspect the IO 82 unit and packing materials
for signs of damage. Report any shipment damage to the carrier that deliv-
ered the product or dealer from whom you purchased the product at once.

NOTE: The full Cubase LE manual is located on the software DVD.
System Requirements
Powerful software for audio recording requires a powerful computer with
the right operating system software, processor and memory. Most comput-
ers currently sold already meet these requirements, or can be upgraded to
be compatible with the IO 82. As with all such systems, adding more RAM
than the minimum will allow you to do more processing and improve per-
formance.
