To use the product in the tree
WARNING: Most accidents occur if the
operator does not have full control of the
product or the work position. Read and
understand the safety instructions before
you use this product.
• Keep a safe work position when you cut horizontal
sections at hip level and vertical sections at solar
plexus level. This lets you to hold the product with
both hands and must be considered as a general
rule.
• Make sure to be stable on your feet when you
operate with vertical branches with a low lateral
force. Steer the safety line through a different anchor
point to remove or prevent increasing lateral forces.
You can also use an adjustable strop directly from
the harness to a different anchor point.
• Use a foot loop to keep a safe work position.
• Do a check of the harness, belt and ropes at a
regular interval.
To free a trapped product
1. Stop the product.
2. Attach the product safely to the cut directed against
the tree or to at separate tool line.
3. Lift the branch and remove the product from the cut
at the same time. Use a lever to open up the cut.
WARNING: Do not try to pull the product
free. Risk of serious injury.
4. Use a handsaw or a second chainsaw to release the
product if necessary. Cut the branch at a minimum of
30 cm/12 in from the trapped product. Make the cut
outside from where the product is trapped.

1. Make sure that the front hand guard is not damaged
and that there are no defects, such as cracks.
