Unplug the dehydrator.
ATTENTION! Do not unplug the dehydrator until the fan
has stopped. This is necessary for the fan to cool the heat-
ing element.
Note: To cool the food products after dehydration, you
can use the «Fan» function. When using this function, only
the dehydrator fan operates. This ensures faster cooling
of the food products. The function can be activated by
changing the temperature, lowering it to a value below
«35 °C». In this case the « » symbols will appear on
the display.
ATTENTION! Be careful! The grids may be hot. Use a
potholder when removing the grids or wait for them to
cool down. To do this, you can open the dehydrator door
and leave it in this state for some time.
Notes:
During the dehydration process, the heating element may
turn on and off to stabilize the temperature in the cham-
ber, this is normal.
Check food readiness every hour. If food products are
dried unevenly, you can turn them or interchange the
grids (3) for more even drying.
Time of drying for every type of product is set individ-
ually and depends on the quality and size of the used
food products, temperature and relative humidity of the
room. See the «Recommendations» section for more
information.
Let the unit and dried food products cool down.
Pack the ready food products into packages or jars, put
away for storage (see chapter «Storage of food»).
RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommended settings for food preparation, drying
temperature and time, and yogurt making
Food dehydration time indicated in the tables may be used
for reference only, because time of drying for every ingredi-
ent is set individually and depends on the quality and size of
the used food products, temperature and relative humidity
of the room.
As you master the unit, you will be able to choose the desired
drying time by yourself.
Ready fruit should be soft, without moisture. Overdried fruits
are stored worse and contain fewer nutrients.
Dried vegetables should be hard and brittle.
