2. Voltage
• Connect the pocket tester (DC20V) to the
horn lead.
Pocket tester (+) lead ➞ Brown Q
Pocket tester (-) lead ➞ Ground W
• Turn the main switch to ON.
• Check for voltage (12V) between “Brown”
and the ground.
SIGNAL SYSTEM
4. Connections
• Check all connections in the signal system.
Refer to “WIRING DIAGRAM”.
Check the condition of each circuit of the
signal system.
Refer to the section “SIGNAL SYSTEM
CHECK”.
SIGNAL SYSTEM CHECK
1. Horn does not sound
1. “HORN” switch
• Disconnect the handlebar switch (left) from
the wire harness.
• Check for continuity between:
Black Q and Pink W.
NO CONTINUITY
Horn switch is defect ➞ Replace.
POOR CONNECTIONS
Repair.
