Click a device icon in the Topology tab’s device list to display a graphical representation of the

device.

The following table describes the elements in the GPON Manager screen.

ELEMENT FUNCTION

1 Menu tabs Use these tabs to access various configuration and maintenance menus.

2 Device List Panel The Topology tab lists devices in a tree structure. The colors of the device icons

indicate the status of the devices. Green means online and red means offline. Yellow

for a submap node means no response from the device under the submap.

Click a device icon to retrieve updated information from the device.

Double-click a device icon to update device information to the EMS database.

Right-click a device icon to access configuration menus.

3 Alarm Severity

Indicators

These indicate the presence of any alarm/event logs. Click on an active icon to view

the Event Log screen.

The Critical, Major, Minor and Info. buttons are colored if a related event log has

not been acknowledged yet. The event status is updated every 10 seconds.

4 Device Panel This graphical display represents the device and the status of it’s port connections.
