Typical Installation
FIG. 2 is an example of an installation with a Python
chemical injection pump. Your installation may differ
from what is shown here. (See Required Accessories,
page 8.) The Python pump (F) is the only component in

IG. 2 supplied by Graco. All other components are sup-
plied by customer.

Chemical Supply
If you have an application, or mounting configuration,
that requires installation in a manner different than
depicted in F
IG. 2, please contact your Graco distributor
for assistance.
NOTE: A y-strainer (G) or chemical filter is required
before the pump inlet. This will keep any debris from the
tank from reaching the pump seals. Fluid filters are
available from Graco. See Kits and Accessories on
page 42.
1. Mount the pump (F) and connect the fluid inlet
line (K).
The pump is designed to be vertically mounted directly
from the 1/4 female NPT inlet port (L). The inlet port (L)
is on the bottom and is designated by a flow arrow point-
ing into the pump. Verify the inlet plumbing is sufficiently
strong to support the weight of the pump.
