In order to reduce heat loss and splashing, adjust the height of the dispenser to suit
your cup size by moving it up or down.
Iftheheightadjusterisdifculttomove,cleanit.Proceedasdescribedin
section“REMOVINGANDCLEANINGTHECOFFEEDISPENSINGUNIT”.

Press the button to dispense hot water.
You can stop hot water dispensing prematurely by briey pressing the
menubutton.
CHANGING AND STORING THE CUP FILLING LEVEL IN HOT WATER MODE
The coffee machine is set for standard quantities by default. You can set the cup lling
level individually for each cup size. Proceed as follows:

Select the “hot water” function by pressing the button B .
●
Press the button C repeatedly until the required cup symbol for the desired ground
coffee quantity is displayed.
●
Place an appropriate cup under the coffee delivery spout (e.g. coffee mug).
●
Then press the button and hold it pressed until the desired cup lling level is
reached.
●
Release the button. The desired cup lling level is now stored.
Repeattheprocedureifyoualso wishtochangethellinglevelfor the
othercupsizes.
Allvalues remain storedevenwhenthecoffee machine isswitchedoff.
Should you change your cup size, you can adapt the cup lling level
individuallyatanytimeorresetthellinglevelwitha“Reset”.Thesettings
affectedaredescribedinsection“RESETTINGTHECOFFEEMACHINETO
FACTORYSETTINGS”.
Thestoredcupllinglevelsforeachindividualcupsymbolonlyappliesin
hotwatermode.
PREPARING COFFEE SPECIALITIES
The milk system must be connected in order to dispense coffee specialities. Refer to
section “CONNECTING THE MILK SYSTEM”.
Dispensehotwaterintothecupstoheatthem.
Donotusesoyaorricemilkbecausegoodfrothingresultsarenotpossible
withtheseproducts.
Themilktypeofmilkusedcaninuencethemilkfrothquality.

Select the “coffee specialities” function by pressing the button B . The following
appears on the display:

Select the desired coffee speciality by pressing the button C. The following selections
are possible:
Latte Macchiato
Cappuccino
Café Latte

Place one or two cups under the coffee dispensing spout.
When preparing Latte Macchiato, push the drip tray and the cup grate
intothecoffeemachinecompletelyandplacetwoglassesontotheLatte
Macchiatorest.
The coffee machine has default factory settings. If you wish to change
these settings, refer to the instructions in section “CHANGING AND
STORINGSETTINGSFORCOFFEESPECIALITIES”.
The settings for coffeespecialities (milk-coffee proportion,coffee lling
quantityandfrothquantity)remainstoredevenwhenthecoffeemachineis
switchedoff.

Select the desired ground coffee quantity by pressing the button A. The following
selections are possible:
“only milk” “extra light” “light” “normal” “strong” “extra strong”
Ifyouselectthecoffeegroundquantity“onlymilk”,youcanwarmuphot
milk.
Thegroundcoffeequantityissetseparatelyforeachbeverage.
The last ground coffee quantity set remains stored even when the
applianceisswitchedoff.

Press the button to dispense the coffee speciality.
● Press the button once to heat a cup. The following appears on the display:
● Press the button a second time to heat two cups. The following appears on
the display:
You can still switch between one cup or two cups during the grinding
processbypressingthe button.
