5. Cleaning, care and maintenance

To keep the appliance in good condition, clean the air outlet grille with a vacuum cleaner.

Clean the surfaces when cold with a soft cloth and ordinary cleaning products.

Never spray cleaning products into the air slot.

6. What to do if...

... the appliance does not work or only works to a limited degree: Please observe the following information and check the

possible sources of faults given here.

6.1 Fault table

Fault Cause Remedy

Bluish smoke forms. This can occur during commissioning, caused by

dust, for example.

Thoroughly vent the room. The smell

will dissipate within a few minutes.

Appliance stops. Temperature limiter has responded. Grilles on

appliance are covered or blocked.

Remove the cover or dirt. The

appliance will then automatically

continue to operate.

If you cannot remedy the fault, contact your local contractor.

The type plate is located at the bottom of the r.h. side panel of the appliance.
