Measure mA Current and Activate Loop

Power Supply

The Product lets you measure mA current. It also has a

loop power function that activates a 24 V supply in series

with the current measuring circuit. This allows you to test a

transmitter when it is disconnected from plant wiring.

 Caution

To prevent impact to the measurement

function, do not use the Product to measure

current near strong magnetic fields.

Measure mA Current

To measure mA current, connect the Product to the

transmitter current terminals, as shown in Figure 7.

Activate Loop Power Supply

To activate loop power supply:

1. Push .

2. When SHIFT shows on the display, push .

An internal 24 V loop power turns on.
