PRECAUCIÓN
Para desconectar el dispositivo de la fuente de alimentación.
• Este aparato debe estar conectado a la fuente de alimentación mediante un conmutador con una separación entre
los contactos de al menos 3 mm.
Debe utilizarse un fusible de instalación (se pueden utilizar fusibles de todos los tipos) para la línea de
suministro de energía eléctrica de este aparato de aire acondicionado.
Instalación
• Disponga correctamente la manguera de drenaje para un drenaje perfecto. Un drenaje incorrecto puede provocar
un encharcamiento de agua en el interior de la vivienda, así como daños en el mobiliario.
• Conecte el aparato de aire acondicionado a una toma de corriente exclusiva con el voltaje especificado; de lo
contrario, la unidad podría estropearse o provocar un incendio.
• Confirme que la unidad exterior esté fija en su base. De lo contrario la unidad podría caerse o provocar otro tipo de
accidente.
Funcionamiento
• No utilice el aparato de aire acondicionado con finalidades especiales, como preservar alimentos, instrumentos de
precisión, objetos de arte, reproducción de animales, en vehículos ni embarcaciones.
• No toque ningún interruptor con las manos mojadas; de lo contrario, podría recibir una descarga eléctrica.
• Si el aparato de aire acondicionado no va a utilizarse durante un período de tiempo prolongado, desconecte el
interruptor principal (o disyuntor) por seguridad.
• Para obtener un rendimiento óptimo del aparato de aire acondicionado, utilícelo dentro del rango de la temperatura
de funcionamiento especificada en las instrucciones. De lo contrario, podría producirse un funcionamiento erróneo
o fugas de agua de la unidad.
• Evite que caiga líquido en el interior del control remoto. No derrame zumo, agua ni otro tipo de líquido sobre él.
• No lave el acondicionador de aire. De lo contrario, podrían producirse descargas eléctricas.
• Revise si la base de instalación y el resto del equipo presentan deterioro después de un lapso prolongado de
funcionamiento. Si no toma las medidas necesarias, la unidad podría caerse y provocar lesiones.
• No deje pulverizadores inflamables ni otro tipo de material inflamable cerca del acondicionador de aire ni pulverice
aerosoles inflamables directamente sobre él. Podría incendiarse.
• Apague el aparato de aire acondicionado y desactive el disyuntor antes de realizar la limpieza.
De lo contrario podría lesionarse ya que el ventilador gira a alta velocidad dentro de la unidad.
• Solicite al distribuidor que realice la limpieza del acondicionador de aire.
Si limpia el acondicionador de aire de manera incorrecta, podría dañar las piezas plásticas, el aislamiento de las
piezas eléctricas u otras y provocar un funcionamiento erróneo. En el peor de los casos, podría provocar fugas de
agua, descargas eléctricas, emisión de humo o incendios.
• No coloque un recipiente con agua, como un florero, sobre la unidad.
Podría ingresar agua en la unidad y deteriorar el aislamiento eléctrico provocando descargas eléctricas.
• No lave los aparatos de aire acondicionado con dispositivos de lavado a presión. Las fugas eléctricas pueden causar
descargas eléctricas o incendios.
