1 Turn o the computer.
2 Disconnect the power cord from the PSU and wait for 15 seconds.
3 After 15 seconds, connect the power cord back to the PSU.
a If the LED stays on for 3 seconds and turns o, it indicates the PSU is functional. Continue with troubleshooting steps for other
devices.
b If the LED does not come on, it indicates a hardware failure. The failed component can be PSU, system board or any device.
Step to conrm that PSU is Defective
CAUTION: Ensure that you take adequate safety precautions before accessing the internal components of your system. Go
through the Service Manual to know the steps to access the PSU and its cables.
1 Disconnect the power cord from the PSU.
2 Disconnect the PSU cables from the system board.
3 Connect the power cord to the PSU
a If the LED stays on for 3 seconds and turn o, it indicates the PSU is functional. Continue with troublshooting steps for other
devices.
b If the LED does not come on, it indicates a PSU failure. Dispatch PSU only
Power supply
All power supply units include a self-test ability in an isolation mode.
Customers can test the health of the power system by pressing the test button. The button is lit by a signal in the power supply called
Power_Good (PG). When the +3.3v, +5v, and +12v rails are up and within spec, the PG signal turns on, lighting the self-test LED. By
removing the cable harness in units that do not pass this test, the customer, or technician can isolate the failure's cause to an attached
device of the power supply.

Системы "все в одном" поддерживают встроенную проверку ЖК-дисплея (BIST) аналогично другим системам Dell с BIST.
Она позволяет пользователю изолировать ЖК-дисплей на время поиска и устранения неисправностей для определения
сбойной подсистемы. Основное различие заключается в том, что в системе "все в одном" отсутствует интегрированный
контроллер сканирования клавиатуры. При запуске проверки BIST на ЖК-дисплей будет выведен порождаемый
внутренними средствами узор для визуальной проверки пользователем. Этот шаблон будет отображаться в виде
последовательности в следующем порядке. Черный-белый-красный-зеленый-синий или белый-черный-красный-зеленый-
синий, каждый шаблон будет выводиться на экран в течение 2 или 3 секунд. На изображениях ниже показан порядок
цветов на ЖК-дисплее.
