The “INTERFACE” page is divided into two areas. One shows the
status of the unit and the other shows settings.
An image of the rear panel of the unit is shown at the bottom
of the page so you can check the layout of connectors, for
example. (No setting changes or other operations are possible
using this image.)
Status display area
This shows the current status of the unit.
Item displayed Meaning
Software Version Version of the software being used
Firmware Version
Version of the firmware used by
the unit
Device Unit model
Clock Source
Name of the currently selected
clock source
Sample Rate Current sampling frequency
Digital Input Status Current status of digital input
Depending on the status of the digital input, the following will
appear for the Digital Input Statusitem.
Item

Meaning
Lock A valid digital signal is being input.
Unlock No valid digital signal is being detected.
NOTE
("No Device” is shown for the “Firmware Version” and
“Device” items when the unit and the computer are not
connected.)
"No ASIO Driver” is show for the “Sample Rate” item if no
ASIO driver has been installed.
Setting area
1 Sample Clock Source
Use this to set the sampling clock source.
Options:
COAXIAL
The clock signal input through the COAXIAL IN
connector is used.
OPTICAL(TASCAM Auto Mode)
The clock signal input through the OPTICAL IN
connector is used.
If the connected device is a TASCAM device, the input
clock signal will be automatically identified and set.
OPTICAL(44.1kHz/48kHz/88.2kHz/96kHz)
The clock signal input through the OPTICAL IN
connector is used.
Use this setting if the connected device is not a
TASCAM device and the input clock signal is 44.1, 48,
88.2 or 96 kHz.
OPTICAL(176.4kHz/192kHz)
The clock signal input through the OPTICAL IN
connector is used.
Use this setting if the connected device is not a
TASCAM device and the input clock signal is 176.4 or
192 kHz.
WORD
The clock signal input through the WORD IN connector
is used.
INTERNAL
The unit's built-in clock is always used.
