Mains operation
Using the power supply, connect the camera to a socket. š
Now position the camera on the magnetic stand.
Monitor
Battery operation
Slide down the battery compartment lid to the rear of the device. š
Insert the battery in the device the correct way round and close the lid. š
Charging
The battery must be charged for at least three hours before the device can be first used inde-
pendently of the mains. During this time, you can begin using the device.
Whilst charging, the LED
glows blue. As soon as the battery is fully charged, it glows red.
When the battery is low, the LED
begins to flash. If the monitor is not charging, it shuts
o automatically after approx. 10 minutes.
If the devices are operated using the power supply unit and there is a power cut, the monitor
switches to battery operation. For this reason, the standby time is dependent on the battery
charge status. If no batteries were inserted in the camera, it switches o in the event of a power
cut and there is an acoustic and visual warning on the monitor, the LED
flashes red.
7 Operation
Position the camera so that it is in an elevated position and is not in proximity to any other š
devices that may cause interference.
Set the camera angle by turning the camera.š
Use the š on/o switch to switch the camera on. The power LED of the camera lights up.
Position the monitor in the room where you are, or use the belt clip to attach it to your belt if š
you are outside for example.
Switch on the monitor. The monitor's LED š
lights up.
If the camera and monitor are outside of the maximum possible range, the LED š
glows green.
If there is no connection between the devices (camera not switched on or outside of š
range), an acoustic warning signal sounds, the message “OUT OF RANGE” appears
on the display and the LED
flashes red.
VOX function:
Press the š
button to activate the display only when noise is detected. The LED
glows blue.
If there is noise transmission, the display switches on automatically. If there are no further š
noises, it switches o again automatically after approx. 30 seconds.
In order to return to normal mode, press the š
button again. The display is activated and
the LED
fades.
Lullabies
Press the š
button to start playing the first song. The LED glows red.
Press the š
button to go to the next song or switch to repeat mode, so that songs are
played continuously. Your selection is displayed on the monitor.
Press the š
button to stop the music from playing. The LED goes out.
Night vision
To switch night vision on, press the button on the camera.
