shaft performance of 150 kW) for the 2009/125 EG standard “Eco design
guidelines”
• Minimum efficiency index (MEI): See name plate on page 20.
• The MEI reference value for water pumps with the best grade of efficiency corresponds to ≥ 0.70.
• Construction year: See name plate on page 20.
• Manufacturer or trademark, official registration number and manufacturing site. See order documents
or data sheets.
• Model description: See name plate on page 20.
• Hydraulic pump grade of efficiency [%] with adjusted impeller diameter. See data sheet.
• Characteristics, including efficiency characteristics. See characteristics.
• The grade of efficiency of a pump with an adjusted impeller diameter is generally lower than that of
an impeller with a full diameter. The energy consumption is reduced due to the adjusted impeller, as
the pump is adjusted to a certain operating point. The MEI value is based on an impeller with a full
diameter.
• A variable speed control which adjusts the pump operation to the system is recommended in order to
work more efficiently and economically at various operating points.
• Information regarding installation, decommissioning and disposal.
• Information regarding the efficiency reference value or reference value display for MEI = 0.7 (0.4) for
