8.5.5 Disassemble the mounting bracket – only for incomplete machines

1. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (914.2).

2. Remove the coupling guard (681) from the drive lantern (161).

3. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (914.1).

4. Remove the coupling (849) with the pin (569). Lay the coupling on a clean and even surface.

5. Remove the mounting bracket (89-11.03) from the drive lantern.

1. Loosen the nuts (920.1).

2. Remove the drive lantern (161).

3. Remove the discharge cover (163) from the pump’s outer casing.

4. Remove the O-rings (412.1) from the stage casing.

5. Remove the rotating unit of the mechanical seal (433) from the shaft.

6. Remove the counter ring of the mechanical seal (433) from the discharge cover (163).
