8.6.3 Assemble the motor
Motor and pump shafts must be free of grease!
The motor shaft may not have a shaft key.
Use a reinforced bearing on the drive side.
Use an axially fixed motor.
Observe figure 13.
1. Position the motor (800) on the drive lantern (161).
2. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (901.1) and washers (920.4).
8.6.4 Assemble the coupling
The motor must be assembled with the exception of incomplete machines. Observe the point
“Assemble mounting bracket“!
Observe figure 12.
1. Stick the pin (569) into the shaft (211).
2. Assemble both coupling halves (849) on the shaft (211).
3. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (914.1) by hand.
4. Align the coupling. See point 8.6.5 on page 33
8.6.5 Align the coupling
1. Lower the coupling (849) to the lowest position then raise it 1.5 mm using a screwdriver.
There must be no gap between the coupling halves.
2. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (914.1).
3. Assemble the coupling protection (681) on the drive lantern (161) with the hexagon socket screws
(914.2).
NOTICE
In order to avoid the electric motor’s rotor being lifted from the bearings, the rotor must be blocked
before the coupling is set.
This is valid for ≥ 11 kW motors!
