Mac Address - An unicast MAC address for which the switch has forwarding and or filtering information. The format is 6
or 8 two-digit hexadecimal numbers that are separated by colons, for example 01:23:45:67:89:AB. In an IVL system the
MAC address will be displayed as 8 bytes.
Type - This displays the type of the entry. Static entries are those that are configured by the end user. Dynamic entries are
added to the table as a result of a learning process or protocol.
Description - The text description of this multicast table entry.
Interfaces - The list of interfaces that are designated for forwarding (Fwd:) and filtering (Flt:).
8.6.44 show mac-address-table stats
This command displays the Multicast Forwarding Database (MFDB) statistics.
Format show mac-address-table stats
Mode Privileged EXEC
Total Entries - This displays the total number of entries that can possibly be in the Multicast Forwarding Database table.
Most MFDB Entries Ever Used - This displays the largest number of entries that have been present in the Multicast
Forwarding Database table. This value is also known as the MFDB high-water mark.
Current Entries - This displays the current number of entries in the Multicast Forwarding Database table.
8.6.45 show monitor
This command displays the Port monitoring information for the system.

Port Monitor Mode indicates whether the Port Monitoring feature is enabled or disabled. The possible values are enable
and disable.
Probe Port slot/port is the slot/port that is configured as the probe port. If this value has not been configured, 'Not
Configured' will be displayed.
Monitored Port slot/port is the slot/port that is configured as the monitored port. If this value has not been configured,
'Not Configured' will be displayed.
8.6.46 show port
This command displays port information.
Format show port {<slot/port> | all}
Mode Privileged EXEC
slot/port - The physical slot and physical port.
Type - If not blank, this field indicates that this port is a special type of port. The possible values are:
Mon - this port is a monitoring port. Look at the Port Monitoring screens to find out more information.
Lag - this port is a member of a port-channel (LAG).
Probe - this port is a probe port.
