Electric vacuum cleaner

PRODUCT ELEMENTS 2
This instruction manual describes various BSS mod-
els, which means that some of the equipment features
and functions described may not be available on your
model.
You should only use original Bort accessories, which
have been specially developed for your vacuum clean-
er to achieve the best possible vacuuming results.
Please keep this instruction manual in a safe place.
If you pass the vacuum cleaner on to someone else,
please also pass on this instruction manual.
INTENDED USE
This vacuum cleaner is intended for domestic
use only, not for commercial use.
Only use this vacuum cleaner in accordance
with the instructions in this instruction manual.
The vacuum cleaner is suitable for vacuuming dry ma-
terials and, by taking suitable measures, also for vacu-
uming liquids. The penetration of liquids increases the
risk of an electric shock.
The manufacturer will not accept any responsibility for
damage caused by improper use or incorrect opera-
tion.
Therefore, you must note the following points.
The vacuum cleaner must only be operated with:
● Manufacturer's original dust bags
● Manufacturer's original replacement parts, accesso-
ries or special accessories
SAFETY INFORMATION
This vacuum cleaner complies with the generally ac-
cepted standards of technology and relevant safety
regulations.
● Always observe the information on the rating plate
when using the vacuum cleaner and connecting to
the power supply.
● Never use the vacuum cleaner without a dust bag
fi tted.
=> This can damage the appliance.
● The appliance may be used by children over the age
of 8 years and by persons with reduced phy-sical,
sensory or mental capacity or by persons with a lack
of experience or knowledge if they are supervised
or have been instructed on the safe use of the ap-
pliance and the have under-stood the potential dan-
gers of using the appli-ance.
● Children must never play with the appliance
● Cleaning and user maintenance must never be car-
ried out by children without supervision.
HINWEISE ZUR ENTSORGUNG
● Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt den Staubsauger vor Be-
schädigung auf dem Transportweg. Sie besteht aus
umweltfreundlichen Materialien und ist deshalb re-
cycelbar. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Ver-
packungsmaterialien an den Sammelstellen für das
Verwertungssystem »Grüner Punkt«.
● Altgerät
Altgeräte enthalten vielfach noch wertvolle Materi-
alien. Geben Sie deshalb Ihr ausgedientes Gerät
bei Ihrem Händler bzw. einem Recyclingcenter zur
Wiederverwertung ab. Aktuelle Entsorgungswege
erfragen Sie bitte bei Ihrem Händler oder Ihrer Ge-
meindeverwaltung.
● Entsorgung Filter und Filterbeutel
Filter und Filterbeutel sind aus umweltverträglichen
Materialien hergestellt. Sofern sie keine Substan-
zen enthalten, die für den Hausmüll verboten sind,
können Sie über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt
werden.
BITTE BEACHTEN
Die Netzsteckdose muß über eine Sicherung
von mindestens 16 A abgesichert sein. Sollte
die Sicherung beim Einschalten des Gerätes
einmal ausgelöst werden, so kann dies daran liegen,
daß gleichzeitig andere Elektrogeräte mit hohem An-
schlusswert am gleichen Stromkreis angeschlossen
sind. Das Auslösen der Sicherung ist vermeidbar, in
dem Sie vor dem Einschalten des Gerätes die nied-
rigste Leistungsstufe einstellen und erst danach eine
höhere Leisungsstufe wählen.
PFLEGE
Vor jeder Reinigung des Staubsaugers muss dieser
ausgeschaltet und der Netzstecker gezogen werden.
Staubsauger und Zubehörteile aus Kunststoff können
mit einem handelsüblichen Kunststoffreiniger gepfl egt
werden.
Keine Scheuermittel, Glas- oder Allzweckrei-
niger verwenden. Staubsauger niemals in
Wasser tauchen. Der Staubraum kann bei
Bedarf mit einem zweiten Staubsauger ausgesaugt
oder einfach mit einem trockenen Staubtuch / Staub-
pinsel gereinigt werden.
