5. Intended use

This appliance is intended for cleaning hard

floors only (eg tiles, marble, wood and

all water-resistant floors) Do not use this

appliance to clean carpets or other water-

sensitive floors

Note: Do not use this appliance to clean

carpets

6. Floor maintenance

Make sure that everything you intend to wet-clean is suitable for this procedure When wet-

cleaning, the manufacturer’s recommendations and maintenance instructions for hard floors

should be followed strictly This especially applies to surfaces sensitive to moisture, such as

parquet and laminate

A THOMAS cleaning solution can be used to boost the cleaning effect Do not put any unauthorised

floor-care products in the water tank

Assembly

Open the packing box and take out the cleaning roller Please immerse it in 40°C/104°F

warm water for 2–5 minutes to make it soft before first use (the water temperature should

not be higher than 50°C/122°F; if only cold water is available, please immerse the roller for

about ten minutes)

This procedure is necessary each time before the appliance is used, as the cleaning roller

hardens after drying

Take out the lower body from the packing box and press the unlock button of the cleaning

head cover to open the cover Remove the waste container

Close the cleaning head cover and turn the lower body on its side until the unlock button of

the cleaning roller is pointing upwards

④ Wring out the cleaning roller after soaking it (see point ①) Insert the cleaning roller onto

the motor (note: the maximum open angle of the drive motor is 45°), push and fix it into

the cleaning head till the lateral button in place

Place the lower body in an upright position, open the cleaning head cover, insert the waste

container and press it down into place Then, if necessary, insert a disposable waste tray in

the waste container Close the cover When you hear a clicking sound, the cover is properly

locked
