3. Filling the clean water tank

Fill the clean water tank each time before using it Under Mode 1, a full tank of clean water can be

used for about 10 minutes (normally enough to clean a surface area of about 50 m²)

Press the unlock button while pulling the clean water tank to take it out To prevent the

appliance from toppling over, hold it upright with one hand

Turn the cap anticlockwise and remove it from the clean water tank Fill the clean water tank

with cold or warm water (should not be higher than 40°C) If needed, appropriate detergent

may be added (please refer to section “Floor maintenance”)

Note: If detergent is needed, only environmentally friendly detergent authorised by THOMAS

is permitted First add the quantity of detergent indicated on the bottle and then fill the clean

water tank with water

Put back and turn the cap clockwise until it is tight again Insert the clean water tank back

into the appliance completely until you hear a clicking sound to indicate the tank is locked

into place To prevent the appliance from toppling over, hold it upright with one hand and

insert the clean water tank with your other hand

Note: To avoid the clean water tank from creeping down during cleaning, please make sure

it is correctly positioned and locked

4. Parking position

Hold the handle of the appliance and push it forwards slightly until you hear a clicking sound

Now the appliance is locked in the parking position Do not push it any further, or you will damage

the appliance

Operation

1. Starting cleaning

Lift the appliance out of the charging base, hold the handle and use the foot to hold the cleaning

head in place Pull the body back until you hear a clicking sound The body is now unlocked Press

the power button to start the appliance

Note: It is normal to hear a clicking sound while the body is locking and unlocking
