6. Do not use the product on animals.
7. Do not apply the product to any areas of the body where the skin presents scars, wounds, inammation
or any other alteration due to illness. Consult your physician.
8. This product is designed for home use only. It is not intended for professional applications or medical
use in hospitals.
9. The boot must only be used for warming the feet. Any other use of the product will be considered
hazardous. The manufacturer will decline all responsibility for any damage due to improper or
incorrect use.
10. Although electromagnetic eld emitted by these products is extremely low, pacemaker users should
consult their physician before using the product.
11. Do not use the product folded or creased. Do not store the product creased.
12. Do not stick pins, needles or any other sharp objects into the product.
13. Do not use the product while wearing shoes.
14. Avoid using the heating cushion inside or outside the boot without its cover.
15. Do not place heavy objects on the product.
16. Never bring the product into contact with other sources of heat, such as other heating pads,
underblankets, hot water bottles, etc.
17. Do not cover the control switch while operating the product; do not place it above or below the
heating element or inside the boot while the unit is in operation.
18. Excessively long use of the product running at a high temperature may produce skin burns. Avoid falling
asleep with the product in operation.
19. Do not leave the product unattended while in operation.
20. In any case avoid wetting the control unit.
21. Do not touch the control unit with wet hands while the product is plugged in.
22. Do not use the product in excessively humid environments or in environments where the risk of
splashing liquids on it is high (e.g. bathrooms, showers, swimming pools). In the presence of bottles
or glasses with beverages, take care not to splash them on the control unit.
23. Do not expose the product to environmental agents (rain, sun, etc.).
24. Unplug the product from the mains when not in use.
25. Before cleaning the product make sure it is unplugged from the mains.
26. Cleaning instructions are found in a specic section of this manual.
27. Protect the power cord from scraping against sharp edges and from coming into contact with very hot
objects that could damage it.
28. Do not pull on the power cord or use the heating part itself to pull and unplug the product from
the mains.
29. Do not hold the product by the power cord to move or carry it.
30. Inspect the product frequently for signs of wear or damage. If these signs appear, do not use the
product and take it to an authorized service centre.
31. This product has no parts intended to be repaired or replaced by the user. If any part of the product
fails, or the product does not perform properly, or there is any other kind of anomaly, do not attempt
to repair it and instead take the product to an authorized service centre.
32. The appliance must be returned to the manufacturer or his agent if the fuse of control unit has
ruptured.
