• Connect the lance hose(21), (22) or(47) to the spray gun (19) depending on the type of high pressure

cleaner you have. OperationH in Fig.8.

STANDARD OPERATION (HIGH PRESSURE)

• Ensure that the nozzle holder head(24) or device(26) is not in the detergent dispensing position (see

also the

“operatIon wIth detergent”

paragraph).

NOTE: as neither the FDX210/150 nor the FDXXtreme have the possibility of suctioning detergent

this check is superuous.

• Start the engine, referring to the relevant operating and maintenance manual.

• Open the water supply tap, if any.

• Press the spray gun lever(33) checking that the nozzle spray is uniform and there are no drips.

• If necessary regulate the pressure by way of the pressure regulating knob(17) (not for FDX210/150).

Turn it clockwise to increase pressure, anticlockwise to reduce it. You can see the pressure on the

pressure indicator(18).

• It is also possible to adjust the head (48) jet angle of the FDX210/150 model from fan to concentrated

(see Fig. 7).

CAUTION

• Before expecting maximum performance of the high pressure cleaner it is good practice to warm

the engine up for a couple of minutes.

OPERATION WITH DETERGENT

The recommended detergents are more than 90% biodegradable. On how to use the detergent please

refer to the instructions given on the detergent label.

FDX210/150

• Fill the bottle(55) with the detergent chosen.

• Adjust detergent suction capacity as follows:

- remove the rod(54) from the foam lance(53);

- match notchL of the rod(54) with one of the numbers inside the lance(53)

(1:minimum suction, 6:maximum suction);

- put the rod(54) back in the lance(53).

• Fit the bottle (55) into the lance(53).

• Stop the engine, referring to the relevant operating and maintenance manual and connect the lance(53)

to the spray gun(19).

• Start the engine, referring to the relevant operating and maintenance manual and operate the lever(33)

(detergent mixing and suction are automatic as the water passes through).

All the other models

• Put the hose(31) in the external tank which has already been prepared with detergent to the strength

required: in this case too, follow the indications given for the dosage on the detergent pack label.

• Turn the nozzle holder head(24) or the device(26) as schematized in Fig.7-a and then operate the

spray gun lever (33) and start dispensing detergent.

• Release the lever(33) and turn the nozzle holder head (24) or the device(26) as schematized in Fig.7-b

to stop dispensing detergent and return to high pressure operation.

NOTE: neither the FDX210/150 nor the FDXXtreme have the possibility of suctioning detergent.

STOPPING OPERATION

• When the spray gun lever(33) is released it stops the high pressure jet and the machine goes to the

bypass mode.

• Pressing the spray gun lever(33) again the high pressure jet starts again.
