Connections
There is a notable difference between the connections available of theFullRangesystems,theX8,10, 12,15plusthe X210
subwoofer,and theX115andX118subs.ThefullrangespeakershaveaconnectorpanelwithtwoNeutrikSpeakonconnectors
wired in parallel with eachother.Thesecondconnectorallowsuseofa short link lead to power another,parallelBlacklineX
loudspeaker.Th
econnectorsarewiredasfollows:
X8,X10,X12,X15,X210
Note that although connections 2+/‐ are not used within the cabinets, they are still wired in parallel between the two NL4
connectors.
Sub‐WooferConnections
TheX210hastwoparalleledNL4SpeakonshowevertheX115andX118subwoofersfeatureanadditionalNL4connectorwhich
canbeutilisedtoconnectfromtheSubwooferuptoafullrangecabinetwhenrunningasystembi‐ampedusingaDX0.5asa2‐
waycrossoverandindependentamplifiersforthesubandfullrangecabinet
s.Thisistherearpanelofthosemodels;‐
The Input and Link‐A NL4 connectors are paralleled together with the feed to the driver in the Sub cabinet taken from the
connectiontopins1+/‐.Theconnectiontopins2+/‐isalsoparalleledandro
utedtopins1+/‐ontheLink‐Bconnector. Thismeans
thatabi‐ampsignalcanbefedviaa4 ‐corespeakercablecarryingthesubfeedontw ocoresconnectedtopins1+/‐andthemid‐
topfeedonthetwocoresconnectedto2+/‐.Thisisplu
ggedintotheinput.AconventionalNL4cablethenconnectsfromLink‐B
uptoyourBlacklineXfullrangespeaker;X8,10,12or15.Thesystemoperatesinfullbi‐ampmodewithextremelyneatandtidy
cabling.
