Making cappuccino
Assemble an automatic milk frothing
system, as described in the section
«Automatic milk frothing system».
(page 19)
1. Fill the milk container with chilled
milk and close the lid. Turn on the
appliance by pressing the on/off
button and make sure that there is
drip tray under the coffee supply unit,
and the water tank is filled. Appliance
will perform automatic rinsing; you
can stop it by pressing the hot water
button.
2. Place the cup under the coffee
supply unit.
3. Press the «Cappuccino» button,
and only the «Cappuccino» button
will light up indicating that a coffee
drink is being made. The indicator
lights up during the making process.
4. The machine will supply milk first,
and then, coffee.
5. The preparation of the drink will stop
automatically. If you want to stop
making forcibly, press the button
again during the operation.
6. After making the drink, put the milk
container in the refrigerator. Do not
store milk at room temperature.
7. After use, the automatic milk frothing
system must be thoroughly cleaned
(see «Daily cleaning of appliance»,
section «Cleaning of the automatic
milk frothing system»).
Note:
Clean the automatic milk frothing
system before the first use.
Use cold milk (at a temperature of
approximately 5°C/41°F) to ensure
an optimal frothing result. Experiment
with different brands of milk.
Warning:
Milk frothing is performed with the
help of steam. Beware of burns.
After use, put the flexible milk
tube (15) around the lid of the milk
container. Do not let it fall freely,
so that the milk does not splash due
to the pressure difference. (figure 1)
