HOME CONNECTING THE DISPOSER DRAIN PIPE TO THE SEWERAGE 1 Put the flange 2 and then the O ring 1 onto the drain pipe 2 Insert the drain pipe firmly into the outlet of the disposer Check that the O ring fits into place without distortion 3 Insert the screws 3 into the holes of the flange 2 and screw them into the threaded holes of the disposer body ATTENTION Regularly check all connections for water leaks after installation and during operation of the disposer Water leaks may result in property damage and the manufacturer can not be held liable for damage resulting from leaks One sink 4 Tighten the screws in sequence so that the flange presses the O ring without distortion 5 Connect the disposer s drain pipe to the siphon Connection options are shown in the figure 6 Close the sink drain inlet with a plug stopper in some models with a splash guard and a pusher plug and fill the sink three quarters with water 7 Lift the mesh plug remove the pusher plug and while draining the water from the sink check all connec tions for leaks Double bowl sink with medium outlet Double bowl sink with two bowls with end outlet 8 INSTALLATION OF THE PNEUMATIC BUTTON To protect against electric shock in high humidity conditions the disposer is equipped with a pneumatic button The button is connected to the electri cal switch using an air tube ATTENTION Do not use a wrench to tighten the mounting and clamping nuts In the disposer kit one of the HARPER
