The water resistance of the unit must be checked after replacing the battery or after
other service operations. The check requires special equipment and training. You must
frequently check the transparent battery compartment cover and the display for any
sign of leaks. If you find moisture inside your dive computer, there is a leak. A leak
must be corrected without delay as moisture will seriously damage the unit, even
beyond repair. SUUNTO does not take any responsibility for damage caused by
moisture in the dive computer unless the instructions of this manual are carefully
followed. In the event of a leak, immediately take the dive computer to an authorized
SUUNTO dealer or distributor.
