1 Safety Instructions
before using the unit
•
Always carefully inspect the cable, the control unit and the Shiatsu massage
cushion for damage before use. Do not attempt to use a defective unit.
•
Do not use the unit if there are visible signs of damage on the unit or the
cable components, the unit does not work properly or the seat or the control
unit have been dropped or become damp. In order to prevent hazards, always
send the unit in to the service centre.
•
The zip fastener on the massage device must not be opened. It is only fitted
for reasons relating to the manufacturing of the device.
operating the unit
The device is only intended for household use and must not
be used for commercial or medical purposes.
If you have health concerns, consult your doctor before
using the Shiatsu massage cushion.
The massage cushion must only be used in enclosed spaces!
Do not use the Shiatsu massage cushion in damp rooms (e.g.
when bathing or showering).
•
The Shiatsu massage cushion must only be used for its intended purpose as
described in the instruction manual.
•
Using the Shiatsu massage cushion for any other purpose invalidates the
warranty.
•
Never leave the unit unattended if it is connected to the power supply.
•
The maximum operating time for one session is 15 minutes. Allow it to cool
off for at least 15 minutes before using it again.
•
Do not allow the Shiatsu massage cushion to come into contact with
pointed or sharp objects.
•
Never put the unit down next to an electric stove or other sources of heat.
•
Never use the device under covers, such as blankets or pillows.
• For back massages
operate the device in an upright position only.
For legs
massages
operate the device in a flat position, to place the legs on it com-
fortably.
•
Never sit or stand on the moving parts of the device with all your weight and
do not place objects on the device.
•
Do not jam or force any part of your body, in particular your fingers, be-
tween the rotating massage heads and their mountings in the device.
•
In order to prevent yourself from being trapped between the heads, do NOT
lean on the massage heads when changing your position or moving the
massage device.
•
Make sure that all moving parts can move freely at all times.

The unit is maintenance free.
•
You may only clean the device yourself. If the device malfunctions please do
not repair it yourself as this leads to the automatic expiry of all guarantee
rights. Ask your specialist dealer and have repairs carried out by the service.
