Unit inside of the pod liner 3 From outside of the pod tighten the Connector Nut onto the assembled Liiit See Fig 14 4 Hand tickten the Contrd Valve to the assembled Unit See Fig 15 NOTE Check that both the Contrd Valve Gasket and O ring are correctly positioned on the Contrd Valve 5 Refer to the pod manual for the rest of the pod instalation OPERATION NOTE Use the contrd screw on top of the Contrd Valve to open and dose the Valve See Fig 16 6 Make sure the valve is closed In case of an accident Take all the children out of the water immediately Call for emergency support and fellow their iistruction advice Replace wet dothing with dry clothing Watch and react When supervising chidren stay close at hand and always be alert Teach your chidren to swim as soon as possible Al titering accessories out of the carton with care If the pool set comes with a ladder the ladder requires a crosshead screwdriver or an adjustable wrench not included to assemble Locate your pod with a minimum of 122cm 4 feet space on al sides so that a chid can not use an object to ci mb into the pod Do not set up directly under overhead power ines or trees and be sure the location does not contain underground utiity pipes lines or cables of any kind It is essential the pod is set up on sdid level ground If the pod is set up on uneven ground it can result in ccfapse of the pod and flooding causing serious personal injury and or damage to personal property Setting up on uneven ground wil void the warranty and service daims Sand should not be used to create a level base the ground should be dug out if necessary Do not set pod up on driveways decks platforms gravel or asphalt Ground should be firm enough to withstand the pressure of the water mud sand soft loose soi or tar are not suitable The ground must be deared of all objects and debris induding stones and twigs NOTE Lawn or other vegetation under the pod wil die and may cause odors and sbme therefore we recommend removing all grass from where the pod wil be located Avdd locating your pod over or beside areas prone to aggressive plant and weed spedes as they may grow through the ground cloth or liner We higily recommend that once the pod is unfdded on the ground cloth to let it sit exposed to direct sunligit for 1 hour or more so that the pod is more flexible during setup If purchased with a pump the pump should be instaled after pool is fully assembled Remember to locate the intake and return outlets towards the outside power source NOTE If you bought a titer pump this element has a separate manual instructions Please open its relative box for detais If you bougit a separate ladder for your pod make sure it matdies the pod size Regularly check to make sure the ladder is property assembled NOTE The ladder is only to be used for entering and exiting the pool Filling Pod with Water ATTENTION Do not leave pod unattended while filing with water 1 Fil pod to drain valve STOP 2 Tum water off Check that the water is not colecting on any side to ensure the pod is level If pod is not level drain water and re level ground by digging out See Fig 19 Never attempt to move the pod with water in it serious personal injury or damage to the pool may result NOTE Your pod may contain up to xxxxx liters xxxx gallons whidi equals xxxxx pounds of pressure If your pool has any bulge or uneven side then the pod is not level the sides may burst and the water may discharge suddenly causing serious personal injury and or damage to property 3 When level HI pod to lowest pump valve STOP 4 Tum water off Check valves for secure fit 5 Fil pod unti water capacity is 90 DO NOT OVERFILL as this could cause the pod to cdlapse In times of heavy rainfall you may need to empty some of the water to ensure the level is conect See Fig 18 6 Check pod for any leaks at valves or seams check ground doth for any evident water loss Do not add diemicals until this has been done 7 In the event of a leak patch your pod using the patch kit provided Refer to the FAQ s for further information NOTE Drawings for lustration purpose only May not reflect actual product Not to scale Pool Maintenance If you do not adhere to the maintenance guideines below your health might be at risk espedaly that of your diidren NOTE The fitter pump is used to circulate the water and to flter small partides to keep your water free of suspended dirt partides In order to keep your pod water clean and hygienic you must add chemicals Assembly of the Steel Pro Frame pool can be completed without tools NOTE It is important to assemble pod in the order shown below 1 Lay out al parts and check that you have the correct quantities as listed in the parts guide If you are missing any part do not assemble the pod contact our Customer Service Department for assistance 2 If pod was purchased with a ground cloth spread carefully at the desired location Ensure the pod is located within distance of a 22O 24Ovolt AC outlet protected by a RCD Residual Current Device 3 Spread out the pod and make sure the pod is rigit side up let it st exposed to direct sunigit for 1 hour or more so that the pod is more flextleduring set up 4 Tum the pool so the drain valve is near the area where your plan to drain the water and pump valves are facing the RCD outlet ATTENTION Do not drag the pod on the ground in order to avdd puncturing from sharp objects Bestway Inflatables wil not be responsible for damage caused to the pod due to mishandling or failure to fdlow these instructions 5 Insert the stopper plug into the inlet and outlet on the wall of the pod from the inside of the pod See Fig 10 NOTE For 549cm x 122cm 18 x48 549cm x 132cm 18 x 52 pods please refer to the connection valve instalation on fdlowing page 6 Insert top rail A into the pde pockets a t the top of the pod See Fig 1 7 Connect top rai A with T Connector C ateadi of comer and insert pins D into gasket F firstand then into pre driled hdes of the frame NOTE The gasket cups should face downwards to prevent water leaking into the top rais See Fig 2 3 4 8 Repeat steps 6 and 7 unti al top rails A are connected with T Connectors C and the top frame is set up For ease of assembly sigitty raise the last 2 rais to an inverted v shape and insert into the last T Connectors C Slowly lower unti fuly connected taking care not to pinch your fingers See Fig 5 9 Put all vertical pod legs B inside the bottom rope and the pod wall band Connect vertical pod leg B into the bottom of the T Connector C Make sure the vertical pod leg B has the spring loaded pins at the top when connecting the T Connector C See Flg 6 NOTE For 244cm x 61 cm 8 x 24 pods no bottom rope and wal band For 305cm x 76cm 10 x 30 366cm x 76cm 1Z x 30 pods no bottom rope 10 Attach all footings E to the bottom of the vertical pod legs B See Hg 7 11 Tighten the rope at the bottom of the pod unti the legs are straight See Fig 8 12 Pull the frame from different directions to ensure all rais pod legs and connectors are firmly jdnted See Flg 9 13 Ensure drain valve is firmly closed 14 Put 1 to 2 water in the pod to cover the floor Once pod floor is slightly covered gently smooth out all wrinkles Start in the center of the pod and work your way clockwise to the outside Connection Valve Assembly For 549cm x 122cm 18 x 48 549cm x 132cm 18 x 5Z pod model 1 Screw the Debris Screen onto the Connector See Fig 12 2 From inside the pod insert this assembled Unit to the pods inlet A and outlet B See Fig 13 To keep your pool clean 1 Contact your local pod supply shop for advice and purchase of diemicals and PH kits Oneof the most important factors to increase the ife of the iner is to keep contiiuosly clean and healthy water Please fdlow strictly the instructions from professional tediniaans for the water treatment through the use of diemicals 2 Locate a bucket of water next to pod to dean users feet before entering pool 3 Cover the pod when not ii use 4 Skim pod regularly to avdd settled dirt 5 Check the filer cartridge regularly change titer cartridge if filter cartridge remains sdled or discolored Suggest repladng the fitter cartridge every 2 weeks 6 Gently clean any supplier Please be careful incase of rail water kindly dieck that the water level is not higher than the expected one If so please act consequently Proper maintenance can maximize the life of your pod ATTENTION Do not use pump when pod is in use During the season of use of the swimming pod the fltration system must be necessariy put into service every day enough for a long time to assure at least a complete renewal of the vdume of water Repair If your pod is damaged use the repair patdi see FAQ s for instructions Dismantling 1 Unscrew the drain valve cap on the outside of the pod counter dockwise and remove 2 Connect the adaptor to the hose and put the other end of the hose ii the area where you are going to drain your pod Check local regulations fordrainage by laws 3 Screw control ring of the hose adaptor onto the drain valve clockwise The drain valve wil be open and water wil start to drain automaticaly ATTENTION Water flow can becontroled with the contrd ring 4 When draining is finished unscrew the contrd ring to close the valve 5 Disconnect the hose 6 Screw the cap back onto the drain valve 7 Air dry pod ATTENTION Do not leave the drained pod outside Storage 1 Please remove al the accessories and spare parts of the pool and store them dean and dry 2 Once pod is completely dry sprinkle with talcum powder to prevent pod from sticking together fdd pod carefuly If pod is not completely dry mould may result and wil damage the pod iner 3 Store iner and accessories in a dry place with a moderate temperature between 5 C 41 F and 38 C 100 F S S 001481
