Zyxel IES-5106 [1006/1156] Switch lldp reinitdelay command
Chapter 35 switch Commands
Management Switch Card User’s Guide
1006
This command sets the time-to-live (TTL) multiplier of the LLDP frames. The device information on
the neighboring devices ages out and is discarded when its corresponding TTL expires. The TTL
value is derived by multiplying the TTL multiplier by the LLDP frames transmitting interval.
Make sure the LLDP packet transmitting interval is shorter than its TTL to update the MSC’s device
information in the neighboring devices before it ages out.
The following example sets the multiplier to 10 cycles. If the LLDP frames transmitting interval is 10
seconds, the the TTL value is 100 seconds.
35.9.5 switch lldp reinitdelay Command
Syntax:
switch lldp reinitdelay
This command sets a minimum number of seconds for LLDP to wait to re-initialize a port that was
disabled. The following example sets the re-initialization delay to 5 seconds.
35.9.6 switch lldp txdelay Command
Syntax:
switch lldp txdelay
This command sets the delay (in seconds) between the successive LLDP frame transmissions
initiated by value or status changes in the local system. The following example sets the
transmission delay to 16 cycles.
35.9.7 switch lldp notifyinterval Command
Syntax:
switch lldp notifyinterval
This command sets the interval (in seconds) between sending notifications dues to changes in
information about remote devices. The following example sets the delay to 120 seconds.
35.9.8 switch lldp show Command
Syntax:
switch lldp show
ras> switch lldp txhold 10
ras> switch lldp reinitdelay 5
ras> switch lldp txdelay 16
ras> switch lldp notifyinterval 120
