10 Create an ONT card on the remote ONT: click ONT Card > New. Configure the ONT card and click
OK.
• Card Number: 1 in this example since it’s the first card in the example.
• Active: select Enable.
• Type: this example uses the PMG1006 so Type refers to the Ethernet ports and the card Type
is Speed10or100or1000BaseT. Other types are VDSL2 (for VDSL ports on an MDU),
Speed10or100BaseT, VEIP (for a virtual Ethernet card on a router mode ONT), and POTS
(for POTS ports on an MDU).
• Data Port Number: the number of subscriber ports on the ONT card expected to send traffic
(4 in this example).
